The Bible Timeline

The Bible Timeline The Bible Timeline provides a clear understanding of the underlying Scriptural narrative, which is essential to all Bible reading and study. The 24-part Bible Timeline Bible Study dives deep into the Biblical story. A combination of individual reading and study, group discussion, and lecture commentary guides participants as they read through the 14 narrative books of The Bible Timeline and discover the meaning of each in light of the whole.

This Bible Timeline study is basic enough to suit those who haven't studied the Bible before while at the same time offering ways to go deeper that will challenge the Bible study veteran. Salvation history is covered from its beginning in Genesis through the coming of Christ and the establishment of the Catholic Church.

This opportunity will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Faith Formation Center starting September 15 and going through November 17, resuming January 5 and going through April 27 (dates are subject to change). Cost is $50.00. Facilitated by Fr. Paul Wolf.



Matthew

Matthew Building directly on the foundation laid in The Bible Timeline, Step Two in The Great Adventure Bible Study Series, Matthew: The King and His Kingdom, shows how Jesus builds on the foundation laid in the Old Testament to inaugurate the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Experience how Jesus relived the life and struggles of Israel to become the faithful and victorious King, and see how the promises of the Old Testament are fulfilled in Christ and his Apostles. This series is an ideal follow-up study to the basic narrative of Scripture taught in The Bible Timeline course.

This opportunity will be held on Thursdays from 2:00 to 3:00 or 6:30 to 7:30 at the Faith Formation Center starting September 10 and going through November 19, resuming January 7 and going through April 29 (dates are subject to change). Cost is $35.00. Facilitated by Fr. Paul Wolf.



Growing Faith Project

Small Faith Communities (Table of Eight). There is no better resource for adult and young adult formation than Growing Faith! It presents the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church - in plain English! Adults and youth alike love this resource. It's presented in forty-eight individual booklets, each booklet in full color with beautiful illustrations.

Growing Faith has an Imprimatur and is completely faithful to church teaching, while at the same time it uses gender and culturally inclusive language, all set in the pastoral tone found in the documents from Vatican II.

This opportunity will be held on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30, followed by Mass at St. Mary's Chapel at the Faith Formation Center starting September 23 and going through November 18, resuming January 6 and going through April 28 (dates are subject to change). Cost is $65.00 (Material will be used over a two year period). Facilitated by Fr. Paul Wolf.
